The City of Red Deer is Tempest’s latest client to go live. Congratulations to the teams from both Red Deer and Tempest in accomplishing the first phase (nicknamed T1) of the city’s implementation in a very short time frame. In this initial phase, the city implemented the Tempest Land system as well as the modules for Taxes, Local Improvements, Pre-Authorized Withdrawals, Cash Receipting, and web based functionality, including Web Inquiry to enable tax certificates. The project kicked off in the Summer of 2014 and went live on March 27, 2015.
The next phase (T2) will include the Dogs, Ticketing and Licensing modules and will begin later this Spring. The final phase, which includes Prospero, Calls for Service, Utility Billing and some of Tempest’s newest modules, including eApply and eBilling, will happen later in the Fall. Thanks to all involved for a successful install! A very dedicated team worked hard to pull a big project together and is looking forward to the next two phases of implementation.
